  • KF flange components: Each pipe end is connected via a centering ring with a gasket. The assembly is held together by a clamp.
  • ISO KF claw flange components: The flanges are connected by a centering ring and a gasket. The assembly is held together by claw bolts.
  • VIF bolt flange components: The flanges are connected by a centering ring and a gasket. The assembly is held together by bolts.
  • CF knife edge flange components: The seal is achieved by inserting a flat copper gasket between the knives of the two CF-type flanges.

Vacuum flanges are disc or ring-shaped mechanical elements used to connect and seal two ends of pipes or fittings together. They can have holes that allow bolt or screw fastening, have a channel for clamping by means of jaws, or have a tapered section that involves the use of a clamping collar. Flanges create a removable mechanical joint, thus symplifying installation, maintenance and inspection.
